I have art thoughts newgrounds! art thoughts i tells ya! I mostly need to do a small rant about making adult art and I got one actual news item.

OK so I have this permanently mixed feeling about drawing adult artwork, like I kinda feel like I'm obligated to make the adult artworks since that's the kind of artwork that apparently makes money. apparently. Don't get me wrong I'm not going to stop making the spicy work but I find it weirdly frustrating to make, and just not for *those* reasons my art brain definitely kicks in and start telling me things like 'the composition is wrong!' or 'do you even know your color theory!?' while I'm drawing what is obvious fetish pr0n artwork and I mean yeah watching positive comments and likes and that sort of thing is itself kind of a dopamine rush, more plz, it's also the inverse whenever theres a downvote or whatever and i like OMG no! less of that, less I tell you. Can you tell I have adhd? It's obvious to me now that I got my diagnosis.

what I actually prefer drawing are cartoons that look like they could have been pulled right out of an olde obscure sega genesis game. Like drawing spiritual successor bosses to rocket knight or dynamite headdy is honestly more my thing. I am genuinely wondering if other artists who make adult art, even on occasion feel similarly to how I do about it, on top of that all the adult things I draw are appealing to my uhh tastes and I dunno there's something weird about that. Maybe I'm being a bit of a prude here but I just had to express my frustration around making adult oriented artwork.

I do have an other adult art piece that's almost ready to go so it should be up fairly soon, I may lump it together with other art pieces since i like my art gallery to be a rectangle. No, I don't know why I'm like this. By the way talking what's up and whats in the works.
